The Pulmonary Rehab program is designed for individuals who have been discharged from a hospital after a pulmonary-related condition but are not yet ready to return home.
Patients with emphysema, COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis and other pulmonary diseases are excellent candidates for this program.
The focus of the program is to improve symptoms related to the progression of the respiratory illness or disease through exercise and education. The goal is to improve quality of life through improved exercise tolerance, greater independence, and reduce the need for rehospitalization.
