Pre-Admission Program
The McGuire Group specializes in working with patients and their Physicians to pre-plan their stay before being admitted to the hospital, or in some cases, avoiding a hospital stay altogether. The following is a basic outline of the process:
  1. When the Physician schedules surgery, patients are encouraged to contact Garden Gate Health Care Facility.
  2. A nurse then contacts the patient to provide information regarding our program, either over the phone or in person.
  3. A tour of the facility can be arranged.
  4. All insurance requirements will be taken care of by The McGuire Group, and a bed will be reserved for the patient on the appropriate day after surgery.
This program ensures a smooth transition between the hospital, our facility and home. Patients can be confident that when they go to the hospital, everything will be in place to immediately begin their road to recovery.

Please contact the Admission Coordinator at Garden Gate Health Care Facility.

“The development of a comprehensive wound care program was instrumental in the transition from hospital to home without requiring re-admission to the hospital. The services provided in this program are unique to Western New York.”
