Frank J. McGuire

Chairman

Frank J. McGuire was born and raised in South Buffalo where he was the oldest of five brothers. He attended South Park High School and the University of Buffalo School of Engineering where he served as President of the graduating class of 1953. Frank was selected to join the General Electric Company’s premier Engineering program in Schenectady, New York where he worked on the design and development of the Nuclear Reactors used in the first atomic submarines.

F. James McGuire

CEO

F. James McGuire is Chief Executive Officer of The McGuire Group, a portfolio of privately held companies, employing more than 2,300 individuals. The organization is involved principally in the businesses of health care, pharmaceuticals and investments. Jim’s early work in the family companies began in 1984 as an electrician’s apprentice and carpenter in Western New York and Fairbanks, Alaska. He left to pursue a B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology and spent five years with W.L. Gore and Associates before returning to his roots in 1996. Increasing responsibilities in all aspects of the companies culminated in the role of CEO in 2002.

Stephen M. Mercurio, RNMS, LNHA, CAS

President

Stephen M. Mercurio serves as President of The McGuire Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for the oversight, management and direction of services for the group’s 2,100 employees and six facilities including Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg, Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga, Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville, Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca and Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue.

Susan Grigg, RN, BSN, CRRN, LNC

Vice President of Health Care Services

Susan Grigg is the Vice President of Health Care Services at The McGuire Group. She is responsible for developing and implementing clinical programs, monitoring quality outcomes and associated risk management relationships, creating and evaluating policies and procedures, and overseeing clinical operations. In 2007, Sue began her career with The McGuire Group, and has since held positions as Director of Quality and Compliance and Administrator of Health Care Services.

Jennifer McDonald, RN

Director of Patient Admissions

Melissa Graziano, PT

Director of Rehabilitative Services

Melissa Graziano, PT, is the Director of Rehabilitative Services for The McGuire Group’s five Western New York facilities. In this capacity, she is responsible for directing the overall services of the rehabilitation departments including coordinating and supervising operations within the departments; maintaining performance improvement activities; developing and implementing systems; and ensuring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Melissa’s experience is enhanced by the numerous roles she has held within the company including as a staff Physical Therapist at Autumn View; Director of Rehabilitation at Seneca; and Director of Rehabilitation and Assistant Administrator of Rehabilitation at Garden Gate. She holds a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from the University at Buffalo.
