Artists from Erie and Niagara Counties were honored during a Memories in the Making Tea and Art Auction held at Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda recently. Artists had their framed watercolor artwork available as part of a silent auction held to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY. Tea and refreshments were also served. The Memories in the Making program is hosted at Northgate by trained facilitators and engages residents in the art of painting and expression.

Northgate Health Care Facility provides skilled nursing care, subacute and outpatient rehabilitation, hospice care, memory care and respite/short-term services. The facility continuously receives outstanding ratings from the federal government and finished in the first quintile of NY State’s quality benchmarking pool for three consecutive years.
