Sherry Grimaldi Honored as Volunteer of the Year at Northgate

The McGuire Group’s Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda is pleased to announce that Sherry Grimaldi of North Tonawanda was honored as the volunteer of the year at the facility’s 23rd Annual Volunteer Luncheon and Award Ceremony.

Lorraine presented the award to Sherry as a token of thanks. According to Lorraine, Sherry is her “guardian angel.” She comes in up to three times per week to visit, she decorates Lorraine’s room for the holidays, takes her outside on the patio when the weather is warm and brings her ice cream to name a few. “She is so good to me,” Lorraine stated.

Northgate Health Care Facility provides 24-hour skilled nursing care, post-hospital and outpatient rehabilitation, Hospice at Jeanne’s House and respite/short-term care. The facility continuously receives outstanding rankings from the federal government and finished in the first quintile in NY State’s quality benchmarking pool.
