To meet the unique needs of our patients, The McGuire Rehabilitation Centers feature state-of-the-art units designed specifically for full-scale subacute and orthopedic rehabilitation and recovery. Our experience in the subacute arena spans across two decades, with an average of 4,000 patients a year who trust us to manage their rehabilitation and healing.
There are many things to consider when choosing a rehabilitation facility. We recommend taking a tour of the subacute unit, meeting the therapy staff and speaking with your doctor about the type of program that’s best for you.
The McGuire Group’s rehabilitation programs focus on the treatment of the following:
- Chronic Conditions
- Joint Fractures Neck and Back
- Neck and Back Injuries
- Post-Operative Conditions
In addition, our therapists possess advanced degrees, specializations and certifications that provide a broad and comprehensive knowledge base to treat many injuries, pains or therapy-related concerns.
As a patient, you will receive therapy on a dedicated unit, enjoy restaurant-style dining, utilize top-of-the-line therapy equipment and train in ADL (Activities of Daily Living) suites, which provide opportunities to practice in simulated home environments.
If you’re considering elective surgery in the near future, it’s wise to begin researching your rehabilitation options now. Pre-planning your stay will allow you to seamlessly transition from the hospital to our facility and immediately begin the healing process.
Remember, you have a right to choose your rehab facility. As our patient, your rehab experience will be second to none; because helping you heal and getting you back home is more than our desire at McGuire, it’s our mission.

WHAT TO BRING TO REHAB
Patients are often curious about what to bring to rehab. We recommend loose comfortable clothing that is easy to pull on and off such as ELASTIC WAIST SLACKS, YOGA PANTS and LOOSE T-SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS. Many knee replacement patients prefer to wear SHORTS.
You should also bring RUBBER SOLED SHOES OR SNEAKERS and your favorite TOILETRIES. We provide gowns to wear at night, but you are welcome to bring your own SLEEPWEAR.
It is also important to bring a list of your CURRENT MEDICATIONS so that we can maintain your continuity of care.
All of our rehab rooms have a complimentary telephone. Television service is $1.00 per day.
You will NOT NEED to bring any valuables with you, as we have almost everything you will need right at the facility.
